There are some very real and serious social / environmental issues that these 'freedom' guys are either ignoring or are poorly aquainted with.
ReplyDeleteWe don't just need a federal government, we need a global federal government. The goal of the global federal government should be to enforce population control, environmental protection, and dare I say it maybe some eugenic influence. And it needs to be able to do this when and as required.
America's federal government does need restricted powers, but those powers need to be re-prescribed.

ReplyDeleteIf you can convince the majority to agree with you, then you should have no problem getting Congress to pass AMENDMENTS to the CONSTITUTION, per Article V. This is not a discussion of what you THINK, this is a matter of having a legal form of government.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate your points, and I admit I am not explicitly familiar with the mechanics your constitutional government. Except, I thought it was ok to express what I think, for the sake of interest. Isn't that what these blogs are supposed to facilitate? And to say, I still believe my generalised point is valid, relating to the focus of these "freedom fighter" guys. They rarely seem to head-on appreciate the more profound long-term problems looming over humanity, from my observation.
I hope the democratic process votes 'yes' for population control for when it needs to. You can see my fear with respect to religiously sticking to what is just 'legal'. Especially when you've still got half a nation rooted into wild religious ideologies.
