Peter Schiff, the famous economist, is running for Senate in Connecticut, having never before tried his hand in politics. Daria Novak is not famous, but like Schiff, she is running for Congress for the first time.
They exchanged ideas before they departed a Tea Party Social at the Pomfret Community School Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Each wished the other good luck in the campaign.
Connecticut is lucky to have candiates the caliber of Schiff and Novak.
The Second district Tea Party Patriots hosted a Social in the Pomfret, Connecticut Community School as an opportunity for people in the far northeastern corner of Connecticut to meet their candidates for House and Senate. Peter Schiff was one of two Senate candidates present. One other sent a surrogate and one other skipped the event entirely. source youtube
