Peter Schiff testifies before Congress

On June 7th 2012 economist Peter Schiff was invited to testify before a Congressional house Sub-commitee on the government's proposal to extend loan guarantees to multi family homes .

Peter Schiff attended a hearing in Washington about "Oversight of Federal Housing Administration's Multifamily Insurance Programs" Oversight of Federal Housing Administration's Multifamily Insurance Programs , Peter Schiff lectured them about free market ...All of these Congressmen and women are complicit with the raping and pillaging of this country. They allow the Federal Reserve as ''Federal'' as Federal Express to print their monopoly money and they are more than happy to blow it. The country is finished. All of these people should be tried for treason. Peter Schiff should leave America (like I did). They don't deserve someone as intelligent as him. The Congresswoman is clearly confused. 
Peter Schiff is a well-known commentator appearing regularly on CNBC, TechTicker and FoxNews. He is often referred to as "Doctor Doom" because of his bearish outlook on the economy and the U.S. Dollar in particular. Peter was one of the first from within the professional investment field to call the housing market a bubble. Peter has written a book called "Crash Proof" and a follow-on called "The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets".
