Peter makes a very intriguing point when you consider most voters are voting for the lesser of 2 evils.. With 2 well established name-brands, it's near impossible for a 3rd Party to make any headway.. The Republican Party is broke worse than they were after Nixon, when the Christian Right started infiltrating and taking them over.. If history has anything to say, this might be a good idea if only to prevent a takeover from another fringe-extremist group..
