Peter Schiff : Romney would have given me a little bit more hope

Peter Schiff : Well, if Romney had won, we’d still have a lot of troubles. But it certainly would have been an improvement to have had Romney in office. But we still have a huge crisis coming, and I don’t think Romney being in office would have prevented that. But it would have given me a little bit more hope that we would come out of this a little bit better—that we might have tried more effective market-oriented solutions to these problems. - in seeking Alpha

Peter Schiff is a well-known commentator appearing regularly on CNBC, TechTicker and FoxNews. He is often referred to as "Doctor Doom" because of his bearish outlook on the economy and the U.S. Dollar in particular.
