Does Free trade hurt America as Lou Dobbs believes ?

Lou Dobbs the author of exporting America why corporate greed is shipping American jobs overseas . Lou Dobbs :"This country cannot even cloth itself , 96 percent of our clothing is imported" we need more balanced trade more reciprocal trade mutual trade policies says Lou Dobbs because we should not put our middle class which is the foundation of this country in direct competition with the cheapest labor in the world ...we should build a manufacturing capacity , we have thirty million people in this country who are unemployed or under-employed , we have seven trillion trade deficit , but again are not the Chinese investing back in America with the dollars that we pay them with for their cheap products , is not it great that we are able to get cheap products and services from China India and Mexico ?
